According to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.halowaypoint.com\/news\/halo-infinite-hcs-update\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">an announcement<\/a><\/strong>, <strong>343 Industries<\/strong> is turning its attention &#8216;towards the next era of Halo,&#8217; with reports claiming <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamesradar.com\/games\/halo\/halo-combat-evolved-is-reportedly-getting-some-form-of-a-remaster-as-xbox-considers-bringing-the-iconic-fps-series-to-ps5-for-the-first-time\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a remaster of Halo: Combat Evolved<\/a><\/strong> is on the cards.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-68dd449610933\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n<p>The announcement also reveals the circuit will not be returning with a new Halo title next year. Instead, the studio will &#8216;still offer some light competition,&#8217; by assisting with the organisation of non-HCS online and LAN events.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-68dd449610f70\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n<p>&#8220;HCS events have become an important gathering place for the whole community,&#8221; said <strong>Tahir &#8216;Tashi&#8217; Hasandjekic, Director of Competitive Engagement at Halo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-68dd4496115f9\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n<p>&#8220;You&#8217;ve made it all a place where no matter why you love Halo, you can feel at home and you&#8217;ve welcomed new Halo fans to HCS who maybe never followed competitive Halo in the past.
