Spectator tickets for the event are <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tixr.com\/groups\/gamesquare\/events\/hcs-major-charlotte-2025-hosted-by-faze-148726\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">on sale now<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-68654f5cb705c\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n<p>Similar to previous HCS events, the Charlotte Major will also host a Free-for-All (FFA) tournament with $5,000 (~\u00a33,630) up for grabs.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-68654f5cb77c6\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n<p>This isn&#8217;t the first time Halo esports has descended on Charlotte, North Carolina. In 2023, the city hosted the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/liquipedia.net\/halo\/Halo_Championship_Series\/2023\/Kickoff_Major\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Year 2 Kickoff Major<\/a><\/strong>, where 78 teams competed in the opening tournament of the HCS&#8217;s second year. <strong>OpTic Gaming<\/strong> defeated <strong>FaZe Clan<\/strong> in the Grand Final, taking home $100,000 (~\u00a372,603) in prize money.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-68654f5cb81df\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n<p>FaZe Clan is the third esports organisation to host a HCS event in 2025. OpTic Gaming hosted April&#8217;s Arlington Major, while <strong>Spacestation Gaming<\/strong> will operate the Salt Lake City Major, taking place from August 1st to 3rd.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-68654f5cb8dfd\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n<p>Halo esports continues to attract new organisations looking to expand into other titles. In May, North American organisation <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/esportsinsider.com\/2025\/05\/envy-halo-esports-return\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ENVY announced its return<\/a><\/strong> to the esport after a four-year absence.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-heading-68654f5cb9a8a\" class=\"esi-heading \">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span id=\"halo_esports_in_2025-2\">Halo Esports In 2025<\/span><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-68654f5cba72c\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n<p>Despite <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/esportsinsider.com\/2025\/04\/is-halo-esports-making-a-comeback\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Halo esports<\/a><\/strong> seeing plenty of involvement from several organisations across the world, it has struggled to maintain healthy viewership. <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-68654f5cbb379\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n<p>According to esports data platform <a href=\"https:\/\/escharts.com\/tournaments\/halo5?order=recent-added\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Esports Charts<\/strong>,<\/a> the 2025 Dallas Open attracted peak viewing figures of 46,532, a sharp decline from the 112,541 peak recorded during the Arlington Major.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-68654f5cbbf5c\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n<p>Even with mixed viewership figures, <strong>343 Industries<\/strong> is continuing to support the Halo esports scene with regular tournaments that also provide amateur teams an opportunity to compete against the strongest teams in the world.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The post <a href=\"https:\/\/esportsinsider.com\/2025\/07\/faze-clan-hcs-charlotte-major-2025-halo\">FaZe Clan unveils HCS Charlotte Major<\/a> appeared first on <a href=\"https:\/\/esportsinsider.com\">Esports Insider<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Image credit: FaZe Clan FaZe Clan has announced it will host the fourth Halo Championship Series (HCS) Major of the 2025 season in Charlotte, North Carolina.
