The tournament continues to top the charts with a total of 267,279 peak viewers and 4.2m hours watched.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-6877c1d741f55\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n<p>This year&#8217;s event was won by North American esports organisation <a href=\"https:\/\/esportsinsider.com\/2023\/09\/faze-clan-porsche-rennsport-reunion-event\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"144102\">FaZe Clan<\/a>, which secured $400,000 (~\u00a3328,810) after defeating OpTic Gaming in the Grand Final. This year, all of the HCS LAN events have taken place in the United States of America. In June 2023, the HCS ran an invitational event at <a href=\"https:\/\/esportsinsider.com\/2023\/05\/halo-invitational-iem-dreamhack-dallas\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"138564\">DreamHack Dallas<\/a> alongside Counter-Strike, Rocket League and Fortnite.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/esportsinsider.com\/the-esports-journal\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"512\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" alt=\"The Esport Journal Edition 13 launch\" class=\"wp-image-144710 lazyload\" data-src=\"http:\/\/www.declareitspiritwear.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Property-1ESJ13-PROMO-ARTICLENAME-1024X512PX.png\"><\/a><\/figure>\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-6877c1d7425f0\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n<p>In comparison to the <a href=\"https:\/\/escharts.com\/tournaments\/halo5\/halo-world-championship-2022\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/escharts.com\/tournaments\/halo5\/halo-world-championship-2022\">2022 Halo World Championship<\/a>, 2023 has shown encouraging signs of growth for Halo esports. Peak viewership increased by approximately 11.2% while its average viewers have risen by 33.5%.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-6877c1d742c0d\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n<p>Following the conclusion of the 2023 event, the HCS confirmed the Halo esports circuit will be returning in 2024. Details on the prize pool, partnered teams, and event locations have yet to be revealed.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-6877c1d743212\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n<p>The year-on-year growth of Halo is positive news for the partnered teams involved and fans of the arena shooter.
