Overwatch 2 has fully unveiled its collaboration with Persona 5, the popular turn-based JRPG developed by Atlus.

After initially teasing the crossover back in August, the developer has showcased several premium cosmetics themed after the Persona characters that will be available to purchase during Season 18.

These are all the characters who will receive Persona 5-themed cosmetics:

  • Wuyang as Joker
  • Mercy as Panther
  • Lifeweaver as Fox
  • D.Va as Queen
  • Genji as Skull

Concept art was shared shortly after the full reveal, alongside in-game screenshots of the character skins, offering a glimpse into what fans can expect from the crossover.

Prices have yet to be revealed, but are expected to fall in line with previous collaborations.

For example, the Gundam Wing 30th anniversary event charged 2,800 Overwatch Coins (~$30/£23) for a single skin, and 5,900 Overwatch Coins (~$60/£46) for a Mega Bundle containing every item. The same was also true for the recent G.I. Joe crossover, which also included a series of in-game challenges.

Esports Skins in 2025

Overwatch 2 has collaborated with numerous brands and franchises this year. For example, one of the most recent collaborations featured Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Dončić, an avid Overwatch player who currently sits within the top 500 ranking players in the North American competitive ladder.

However, there have also been various esports skins released in Overwatch 2 this year. Blizzard recently launched the Unvault Mega bundle, featuring past skins from the now shuttered Overwatch League (OWL). An OWL DPS Unvault bundle was also launched back in June for Bastion, Mei, and Soldier: 76.

The current esports scene, known as the Overwatch Champions Series (OWCS), has released cosmetics to help support teams and fuel prize pools. Team Packs were launched ahead of the Midseason Championships in the Esports World Cup, allowing players to directly contribute funds towards their favourite competitive rosters like Team Falcons.
