What esports events are happening at DreamHack Atlanta 2025?

Esports and gaming festival organiser DreamHack has unveiled its full slate of esports events taking place at DreamHack Atlanta 2025.

The gaming and esports festival will head to the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia, from October 31st to November 2nd, 2025.

In total, DreamHack Atlanta 2025 will host over ten esports tournaments where seven world champions will be crowned. Across all competitions, a total of $6.6m (~£4.9m) in prize money is up for grabs.

Ranging from first-person shooters to mobile games, the event is set to have a diverse range of competitions for fans to spectate. Here’s a breakdown of all the events:

FGC

For FGC fans, the SNK World Championship 2025 event will see players compete across four of the developer’s fighting games for a share of a combined $4.1m (~£3m) prize pool. DreamHack will also host a last-chance qualifier during the opening day, which is an open tournament.

Elsewhere, Riot Games will host a 2XKO tournament with $5,000 (~£3,723) up for grabs. Alongside the prize money, a $2,500 (~£1,861) bounty is on offer if the winner of the tournament is a duo.

Marvel Rivals

The Marvel Rivals: Ignite Grand Finals also heads to Atlanta, with the Playoffs taking place throughout the weekend. NetEase Games has revealed the event will feature a $1m (~£744,609) prize pool, the biggest of any single Marvel Rivals esports event.

Mobile Esports

For mobile esports fans, Supercell is hosting the Clash of Clans World Championship Finals, marking the first time the title has hosted an event in the United States. In addition to Clash of Clans, DreamHack Atlanta 2025 plays host to the Clash Royale League World Finals.

EA Sports FC

Following the launch of EA Sports FC 26, EA Sports will host the FC Pro Last Chance Qualifier and the FC Pro Open Global Qualifier.

The last-chance qualifier will host a 256-player open bracket to determine the four players who advance to the first FC Pro Open Global Qualifier of the year.

The Global Qualifier determines the 16 players who will secure a place in the weekly FC Pro Open competition.

College Football

In addition to its FC Pro initiative, EA Sports is also hosting the College Football 26 DreamHack Challenge. 512 players will battle it out to be among the 32 advancing to the championship bracket, where a $25,000 (~£18,603) prize pool is up for grabs.

Rainbow Six Siege

Rainbow Six Siege makes a return to DreamHack Atlanta 2025 in the form of a new eight-team tournament taking place within the festival’s Freeplay area. The top two teams will have a chance to compete on the DreamHack Main Stage for a $10,000 (~£7,440) prize pool.

Counter-Strike 2

In collaboration with tournament organiser ESL FACEIT Group, DreamHack Atlanta 2025 is hosting DreamHack Knockout, a Counter-Strike 2 tournament that gives casuals and professionals a chance to qualify for ESL Pro League Season 23.

The winner earns a place in the league, while $10,000 is split among the top four teams.

Collegiate Esports

DreamHack Atlanta 2025 will also shine a light on collegiate esports. The DreamHack Collegiate Invitational returns for a second year with 16 Rocket League and VALORANT teams competing within the Freeplay arena.
